Dr Anil Sharma is a renowned cardiologist who joined Bombay Hospital in 1997 and presently he is working as a Professor & Head, Department of Cardiology. He has worked at prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital New York, USA & University Hospital Torino, Italy. Dr Anil Sharma is one of the few Indian cardiologist who got advanced fellowship in complex Angioplasty from Italy. He has been conferred as a honorary “Doctor of Science” by D. Y. Patil University recently. Recently he presented Angioplasty cases in “Top Challenging Angioplasty Cases” session at TCT USA, one of the most prestigious Angioplasty conferences. He has done more than 27,000 procedures in last 27 year’s which includes Coronary Angiography/Angioplasty & Non- coronary interventional procedures. He has received many awards including Gem of India, Dr Rajendra Prasad Vaidyakeey award, Most Innovative Cardiologist award, Mumbai Achievers Icon award 2023 etc. He has more than 50 national/international publications
